Dome was twisting on the rear (trouble cylinder) but only after the oring blew. New set of orings and it didn't do it.

Need some thoughts. Went through this ski & engine, did a new top end (bore and new pistons), leak down tested, rebuilt carb, swapped out stator for known good one, rebuilt CDI by JSS, put a known working regulator/rectifier in and the ski still having issues. Put it in the water and it runs...

Is there a way to add a primer to this carb? Didn't see a place to install the brass barb like the mikunis? Hard to get the ol' sport cruiser started at times...

PIcked up a mint condition sport cruiser today with a bombed out motor. Time for a project. Anyone ever get a 750 engine in one of these? Big headache to do it or no? What all has to get transplanted with it? Coupler, electrical, etc. What about motor mounts? How fast were these stock?

never knew there was a difference 61x to 62t in gaskets. Anyone have a pic of each gasket side by side ? This is going on a 61x jug.

So what head gasket can I go to to boost compression a bit ? Sounds like that'd be the answer. I need to finish up the ski and get it test fired and then do a compression test I suppose... I just figured someone would know right off the bat what it was.
