Yup! Looks like it was never used. Only thing I can see that it needs is a pole bracket. Someone broke it where the strap goes in to hold the pole up.

Grow your own Dan! 3 layers of 1/2" Divynacell and then a couple layers of 1208. These are broader in the nose than anything I've seen and are really fun in the surf. Funny thing is they also kick ass on high speed flat water turns.

Just picked up an amazing 1976 400 ski. It's completely original and unmolested....it even has the stock ride tray matt (no wear) and every little graphic/sticker from the factory. The throttle/choke/steering cables even have the factory grease on them....too cool! Don't know what the hell...

If you turned it over by hand, then there's no need to check the liner....it's good.

Dont overlook the possibility of a swelled pump liner either.......that can make a similar noise.

How many people change the prop to account for the TBM cone? I could see if you simply added the cone to your existing pump prop combo that you may be disappointed, but if the prop/cone combo was done properly I would expect good results. Just wondering if the cone is being given a fair...

probably need a new pump liner (section the prop spins in). They corrode, swell and bind prop.

I agree. The 900 manifold opening is 52mm and that seems about the max you can bore the B-pipe. The 1100 opening is much larger and I would worry about heat as well as a performance bottle neck. Run that Inland Jet pipe!

Yes, it seems to work really well. I've ridden the ski a fare amount now and it's running great! The funky thing is that I never had to touch the jetting, so the B-pipe must be somewhat close to stock 900 specs. It starts right up, doesn't bog off the line and seems to be plenty rich on...

Didn't mean to infer that your bike will crack....it's just a slang name for Cannondale. I did break one Cannondale frame, but the factoory was pretty good about replacing it. Enjoy your new ride!!

Don't really understand the wide rails and the desire for a "super stable" ski. I love my FX due to the fact it's "squirely". I really don't want something super stable to the point that it feels like a barge. When did our sport evolve to having to be easy?? That said, I love the innovation...
