This ^ I can't afford it, but I have an addiction so I will continue to not afford it, every time I try to bring it down to an affordable level I relapse and buy something new.
Just ditch those nylon spacers and push your mounts out, it was a nice thought but having to use custom height motor mounts would suck. May have to swap to SJ mounts too.
It would probably be in your best interest to fill the pole with two part foam once you install the breather tubes to add as much rigidity as possible. The rest of your plan sounds okay, but why not just buy a new pole?
I would remove both aluminum ends and reinstall them with epoxy, the glue...
If it's going into a superjet, I honestly don't think getting the little extra low end hit is worth the money. It's not a flatwater freestyle ski, it's a rec ski and the extra mid and top that the higher porting gets you will make for a more fun all around ski.
Personally, if you are trying to keep it super cheap, I would do some porting yourself, bump the compression up as high as you can for the fuel you can afford and advance your ignition a bit.
