How are you fitting the 144 pump (modify the pump or the hull)?
If you are going for the "best FX1" I would do it the hard way and glass in an entire pump and intake cavity from a 144 ski.

Mount that pole shockpad to the bottom of the handpole, don't have to ugly up your hood, don't have to mess with threading the hoodstraps through that stupid cutout, don't have to have one for each hood.

Everybody that runs any of them will tell you that they are good (or the best). Truth is they all perform well, doubtful anybody has tried all of them, especially not back to back on the same engine.
