A Kawi 750 tank will fit under lip and go pretty far forward without waterbox, and gives you 5 gal capacity. I'm runnning one of these in my Kawi 900 powered FX-1 and it works great.

The reduction nozzle diameter is what matters, not the steering nozzle. If you use a steering nozzlw other than 650sx or X2, the steering pivot will be much further from center and will greatly reduce your steering throw. Did you relocate your cooling line fitting to the other side of the...

If you're using an X2 nozzle, then the 750 is actually smaller ( x2 = 83.5 mm and 750 = 81mm)
