Other HELMET: Best? Lightest?

I have a Bell Bellistic too. Super happy with it. Doesn't hold water, super light. I had my ski fall right on my head twice last season while jumping and trying to flip. Result : no injury at all.

I like the ProTec wake boad helmet, but it is not a full face. The helmet is super light and offers ear protection. Because it is a water specific helmet it absorbs no water, the padding is sealed.
As for a full face, Geko hemets area cool water specific design, though I believe can only be purchased in Europe: http://www.geckoheadgear.com/helmets
I have seen a lot of the Brits wear this helmet (second one down) w/o the shield of course. I also has a little breather (looks like the end of a Camelbak) that you blow in when the helmet is on and it inflates to fit your head.
I have not tried one, but if I were going full face, I would look into it.

after one of the junkies folded in the face guard on a full face,I bolted a short alum bar from the bottom to the top,its 3x stronger with it and protects your nose from bar hits

You guys have got to be kidding about the gecko helmets..... Lol really?

I'm using a 661 helmet and it stays pretty light. It's carbon/Kevlar. But overal it's a piece of :):):):). Broke the visor on a flip and tried to takethe bolts out to put on the new visor and the bolts I guess are made of Frekin silly puddy... Stripped out so easily it was a joke. Tried to use pliers to unscrew it and the head snapped off. Called 661 about a warranty, explained that I live in 661 area code, been watching the company grow Bla Bla Bla..... and they said that how I went about trying to get the bolts out voided my warranty.... I was like WTF. They put me on hold for 10 mins then said what I should do is separate the helmet linear and replace the screw inserts with ones from Troy Lee Designs and then glue the linear back into the helmet shell........ I was like really that's the best you can do for me? They said yes. I laughed and hung up. Frekin joke. The front mouth insert piece fell off too.

I rode with my brothers carbon remedy..... Thing is so light! Pry my next lid.

wonder how that helmet would do with the shield on coated in rainex, sunglasses always sucked, would be cool to not have to wipe water out of your eyes constant

I ordered this 2011 Giro Remedy

, but have not tried it in action because I have been only once in the ocean and I dont really need helmet yet :).. Although it is very light, it floats, it does not soak up much water, and it can be seen from miles :)..
I had TroyLeeDesigns carbon when I used to Downhill and it was the strongest, most comfortable and best helmet overall.
