This was from Memorial weekend. Poor tuning on my part. The longest no wake zone of all time kind of contributed to it. It felt pretty good as I richened it, but it wasn't enough. I opened it up for maybe 6 plus secs and it shut down. Thank god it restarted, but the compression went from 150 in both to 110 in the front cyl and 60 i the rear cyl. Good fun lol!

Close to stock 38's. Some boring in the throats was done before I got them.
Quicksilver oil 40:1
1.5 needle / seat
65 g spring
135 main
30 pilot
I'm open to any and all input. Thanks fellas. I basically have no clue what I'm looking at, or for. But definitely want to learn.

if that is not a typo, it may be your problem

well 135 mains work for a 701 81mm bore with a b-pipe...you have 65u pistons/ a 84.5mm big bore motor w/ b-pipe...you need more fuel according to the pistons...you don't have 30 for the pilot did you mean 80 ? what compression/head ?

Typo for sure. 70 pilot.
i normally ride at 5,000'
limited b pipe
ada head 150 psi is where it was pre burn up.
61x cyl

I'm hoping to limp this cyl through this summer and do something different for next season. Hoping my budget will get me into a jetmaniac / blue motor, or something like it.

edit. Although with it the way it is, it may not limp long after it's back together. So I'm hoping to start richer on air screws for the break in this time. I messed up somewhere though! LOL!

if that is a 61x cyl with 65U pistons @.50 over that's 84.5mm max bore...no more bores left ? anyone else have opinions on these pics ?

You are right, no more bores for sure. The porting feels great on the bottom. Just hoping they survive this season. And like a dumbass, I ordered the wrong size pistons:censored: Oh well. I'll be ordering some more in a bit and hope they can make it before next weekend.
