I have never run MSD total loss but I was easily getting 10 hours of riding on a jetinetics system. Total loss is definitely worth it if it's properly set up and installed, on all size engines.

It's really cool to see somebody try something completely different than what's currently available. It would be even cooler to see a section view of that CAD model across the center of the bore so we could see how the intake and exhaust look.

Seeing the way the cylinder is bulged for the transfers on that KV motor, I would say the intake charge comes in from cylinder, down into the cases and up the transfers just like an MX bike.

I don't think you can even hook it up the wrong way, you can install it but I don't think that the end will reach the nozzle.

If your nozzle is centered when your bars are centered but you don't get full lock in one direction it means the steering cable is not centered in its travel. You should be able to unthread one side while threading the other in to center the cable travel with your steering.

You mean, if my buddy had a V8 on the stand and had to assemble a Pinto to put it in? Can't exactly throw that engine on the trailer and go ride it.

In this day and age of big motors and light hulls, it's not really something that will surprise you or catch you off guard. Will it blow the doors off of a stock 550? Sure, but a ported 61x will put it to shame.
