Just saw this on FB and thought of you guys. Tow mirrors and airbags for carbon skis on hitch haulers. I go everywhere with my ski on the back of a Ranger, XJ Cherokee or a Frontier for the past 5 years.

I feel like this would work great on an MX bike where you could really benefit from a quick restart after stalling.

Maybe this should go in off-topic? Just stumbled upon this video, seems like cool tech. Engine charges a capacitor which can use that energy to turn the magneto into an electric motor to re-start the engine.

Sell that 760 cylinder and get a 61x cylinder.

Looks like your timing might be a bit retarded which probably isn't your issue. Pull the stator off and scratch a line in what's left of that boss. There is a casting line directly in line with the timing mark to use as reference.

I'd go with inserts, some day you might want to go back to a 61x cylinder or you might want to sell it and it seems 61x manifolds sell easier.

Finally put a workbench in my office. Since the weather isn't cooperating this will give me a place to finish my engine up.

You might be able to use some sort of hook system but I doubt anything readily available would work. The mounting surface in front is much different than a superjet and the points on the front of the hood wouldn't really allow you to slide the hood in tipped nose down then set it down like you...

Guess you better get the Twangled backie chan hood retention system, what did the previous owner use?

The one downfall of the KP pole is that you can't really adjust the length (easily) like the RRP. The design seems like you really can't adjust it longer once you cut the tubes down (the RRP has a bit of in/out adjustment once assembled). So start a little longer than you think you want and work...

Looking good, hope to see this one out on the river this year! Kind of makes me want to rocker my XFT.
