I was about to put a scupper in my round nose, and from what research I did your able to put one in just by cutting out the tray, I have not personally done it so I can't say it's going to be easier or harder, but it seems like a whole lots less work Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

I'd would recommend not splitting the hull in half to add the scupper I would just cut the tray out and at the same time I would refoam the tray Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

The only difference from the older rn hulls and the new ones is that in 2008 they changed the location of the intake grate closer to the back end of the ski besides that the old and new hulls are identical Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Yes that is an aftermarket intake grate, that will be perfectly good stock, its actually a nice intake grate for low end Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Ride plates help with grip to the water and longer ride plates helps with porpising when on the gas hard by keeping the back end from sinking down there are also d cut ride plates that help with grip and shortened ride plates will help with getting the back end down easier when jumping wakes/...

Absolutely add an intake grate, intake grates help with turning pump loading, cavitation speed and grip to the water, in chop, you'll stay hooked up in the water significantly more Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Also know what you want to get into, not every boat is made the same, if you want to do flat water tricks your going to need a very specific hull and setup if you want to ride in big surf it will be a whole different setup, I'd recomend get a superjet first or if you have money maybe a tiger...

Also dont get discouraged when you here us talking about having to wrench on skis all the time, if you get bone stock you'll most like be fine if the ski was taken care of, but as soon as those mods start getting added, the more likely there is something to go wrong, and half the time it's an...
