    WSM Piston/ Top end HELP!!

c-clips are stamped. so being in the "up" position means the sharp edged side of the clip faces out, the rounded edge faces inward. if you're using the wire clips, then it doesn't matter. getting the c-clips out usually requires a c-clip removal too, that is reversable, meaning you can make it...

    SX/SXi/SXi Pro R&D 750sx exhaust

R&D pro series pipes work good. you just have to set them up properly with the water lines, jetting, prop, etc.. personally I always liked the sound and response of a stainless chamber over aluminum setups.

    flow control valve.....

if I end up being able to mass produce these things, and people want them, you're gonna end up makin some money off of this thing, this was your idea..lol

    flow control valve.....

yes, I was picturing the "quarter" type if insert when I read your initial post. the reason I drew the diamond type of insert with the holes (also a larger diameter hole through the center) is because I got to thinking about it a little more, and I figured at the idle part of the rpms, it would...

does that look like it would work?

My water monster swam to the bottom...

when he said bearings I thought he meant ball bearings, which didn't make any sense at all. I am mostly trying to figure out how he got enough water flow though that tiny of an area to sink his boat that fast. even if one of the needle bearings go out, the bushing seal on either side of that...

motorheads, I've been drafting a few different ideas of your design here. I'm working on getting my damned scanner to work so I can show you what I have so far, but this friggin scanner is a pita.

    300/440/550 JS550 is a bitch to restart

I was thinking his popoff pressure may be too low, so when he kills the motor, the whole time it's winding down, it's loading the engine up with too much fuel. but that doesn't explain the "milky" substance on the plug, that's water mixed with fuel.

    flow control valve.....

yeah, I figured that's what you meant when you said to drill "holes" in the disc, depending on the inside design, I don't know if it would need a center hole drilled or not. if the seat around the spring that the disc goes against is flat or has a shelf that would block the holes and close off...

    flow control valve.....

that's what I thought you meant to begin with. how exactly would you modify it to allow this to occur? putting a larger diameter tube welded into the headpipe to dump into the chamber? on the newer setup, the cast aluminum kerker headpipe has a very small pinhole spraying or drizzling...

    flow control valve.....

I'm already doing this and it sux, because I have to reach under the hood and open it up when I want it to jump out of the water, then when I want the speed to come up I have to close it down some to get the rpms up while keeping the coupler from melting off. as far as "dialing it in" goes...

    flow control valve.....

that's the idea. but I don't know of an existing valve that will do that.
