Seriously do people understand how carbs work
If you have more airflowing through a carb then you get a larger pressure drop across a jet
this makes more fuel flow through a jet
There is no way any carb company would make a carb that can not flow enough fuel to cover the amount of air it can...
Thats would be awesome if the carbs were only flowing for 180 degrees of the intake cycle per cylinder but with the ram effect due to the weight of the air then you will find that the intake cycle is longer in duration
You also have to remember that when the reeds shut they send a pressure...
Its a good pipe
some people struggle to set it up correctly the b-pipe is alot easier to get running right
the b-pipe will give you better throttle response if you dont have a decent amount of timing in your ski
i hope they dont change it

Wattage is right
you need racks of timing and it comes alive
its a great pipe and makes heaps of power
i pulled my one back to about 15 at 7100 to help it rev on up top then started racking timing back in at 7300 taking it to about 18 at 7500
Reverse jetting works because there is a lag in fuel flow over air flow in a carburator
this is because fuel flow is goverend by air fuel and so it comes after
the extra fuel down low responds quicker and gives you more punch down low
It also helps keep the cases cool and gives you a larger...
So a genric sort of yamaha build or close to it
put in a larger low and a smaller high
say a 130 low and a 115 high
it will hit harder down low and rev nicer up top

some one suggested that its because i had a dry pipe versus a wet pipe and that the carbs were different
thats just meant an excuse for a bad signal in a carb to me

I had f boosters on there and went to a set of full rectums i brought of joe kenny when he was over here
This was on advice from some on who posts on here told me they got much better power on there dyno with them
I was setting them up on my type 9 race superjet...
Dont waste your time
I have found novis to be way better than full specs
yes i have done the conversion
i had 48 novis
then put on full rectums
Im now back on novis and i will not be changing back ever
