grind all the glue out of the hull
i know they say you cant do it
but they also cant prove how much was in there before
say it was less then two mm and then your fine
hey chucky since we are talking lamey big bores etc
can you help me
I have a 80.75 kawi flat top lamey
8mm stroker and old mod engine
do you you know if you can fit the big bore sleeves in these cylinders
im not sure what series of cylidner it is
it has R&D cast in it if that helps
I havent tried v-force on a boysen manifold
but i have tried the rad boysen setup
with full specs as well as with novis
I have to say i got longer life out of my v-force
each to there own i guess
The v-force reeds react quicker
when the piston is at bdc and the pipe is pulling every thing from the bottom case
then you get a 2nd reed opening
to make use of it you need a fast reacting reed
As well as the rad valves distort quickly
I own an 08 superjet with an 8mm lamey engine it
r&d dry pipe
48 novis etc etc etc
Hope this is enough to qualify to anser your question
They are awesome fun
The only issue is they run uptrim from the factory and it make them ride nose high with decent power in them
you can adjust it easy...
if the exhaust doesnt cool down then this means more thermal load on your pistons
more likely to over heat the back of the piston and lead to melt down
not that i would think its much difference in heat
Has anyone actually measured the weght difference between the two
i mean its not like...
lead ?? do you mean ignition timing
yes i need a training program big time
http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/35602 this is the ski
its running a 142mm skat pump i havent gps,ed it yet
I figure it going just over 60 at the moment
I say this from seeing other boats around me and knowing how fast...
wow
Im not running water injection and i am pulling 7900
have to prop up to stop it doing this
how much rpm are you guys getting
Its hitting so hard of the bottom it just launches big time
Im trying to find ways to soften it up so i can keep the thing on the track
Its lifting itself off the...
yeah thats what i was thinming there was only minior on the rad and the crankworks is smaller you may have got away with it
Buti havent fitted a crankworks i have no idea
But it would seem you need to to do huh
