    Get an SXR or Superjet engine and a Superjet pump installed in your 650sx. Even better stick a 1200 thriple and a 155mm pump in it. There, problem solved.

    Stators are the same but the 95+ has a stronger cover. Look at the cdi box, the 92 may have 3729 on it. That is the only box that is undesireable, all SXIs had a 3738 box and is the best one.

    The 90 550 had a piston port engine which tended to be less responsive than the 91+. It is more a novelty than anything else because they make very little thrust, OK for little kids. 650X2s, 750s, and Superjets are the only skis suitable for larger riders.

    Make sure to check your current rpm, if the pump load is well matched to the engine. It is easy to lose performance by blindly going into pump mods. Adding a TBM and a Hooker 10-16 hurt one of the best running boats in our group. The stock pump with a concord pulled harder.
