I've had good luck with poly, vinyl, and epoxy on the FX......never a problem with any of them. However, if you have a serious bonding stress situation, give yourself every advantage and use epoxy. If you are doing some basic mods that aren't under large bonding stress, use whatever you want.

I run my nozzle at 87.5mm. I tried 86 and 90' but 87.5 seemed to be the sweet spot for my setup. I'm running a kawasaki based pump though.

I've ridden cold water/air for 30 years and I've tried practically everything. Best thing I have found is a good 3/2 wetsuit, 3 to 5mm on your feet, a 1.5 mm rash guard, good hand warmers and summer gloves, and a float coat PFD. The float cost is the key piece of gear, they are amazing...

The polaris pump doesn't mount to the tray like a yam or kaw pump, it bolts to the pump shoe. I did make brackets that bolt to the stock kawi 650 pattern and the yamaha nozzle I'm using as an extra measure, but I'm going to run it without them first to see if they are necessary......they...
