well 440 pumps dont need it.... so if its a 440 750 conversion, your better getting a 550 pump. And you should need a flex bit, just a ton of sanding bits on a 1/8" bit.

Thats about how low I did my squarenose hood.... But heres my square nose now. Or at least this is where 80% of my squarenose parts went.

Meh... dont matter. I actually ended up fitting the 701 and a full limted pipe into the 550.

Sure... the 440 Afterburner pump. Nothing was made consisting of the 550 pump core though.

Doh! This is perfect! I just installed my 9/17 hooker in my 650 pump, but it still cavitates. I was thinking of just doing a TBM/R&D cone, but damn... this may be the ticket.... I wonder how much he charges for just the core and machine work since I already have the impeller.... A...

The jap guy. So which should I do. TBM superpump cone or R&D afterburner cone? Same price. R&D looks cooler but I have a feeling the TBM is a slicker setup

I like the nose, but after riding a squarenose I refuse to ever have a nose cover again. Yea that pump section was made the same way FlashFX did his pump redo.. Although, he took it a step further and used that hull as a plug, instead of leaving it as is.

Which is what I need in this boat. Anyone know of a good place to get a TBM pump cone?
