is there a flaw in my thinking mark? would a totally encompassing layer of CF not totally increase the strength of an incredibly thin SMC hull?

Tray is foamed up. I will be glassing the back of the hull later tonight. Perhaps even glassing in the tray shut too.... but i doubt it.

Updated my lighting and work bench a bit ealier today... Footholds are now glued in. I'll be taking screws out tomorrow. Foam and final glass will hopefully be finished by tomorrow night. Impros shipped out my 9/17 with 6mm cutback(!) on monday, I was hoping to have it today but perhaps monday...

na, 650/750 mounts arnt the same, 550 mounts are cockeye'ed in the hull at 35* angles, whereas 650s mount parallel to the hull. I found one extra one, so now I just need one more. Chris I may have to take you up on that, as I have a feeling this ski will be breaking a lot of motor...

I apprently broke two motor mounts in the tree, and I have no extras... I still need a throttle cable. I'm mounting the bulkhead currently.
