Freestyle Xscream 865 Reminder to change wrist-pin bearings every 50 hours!!

Yes but then no one seems to worry about that anyway and that why everyone is buying big bores. If people were really concerned about building an engine technically right we would all have strokers with smaller bores to allow for max transfer port volume. The good side about a big bore is you...

Freestyle dasa 950 pop off pressure help

Are you adjusting the low speed mixture screw or the low speed jet. It sounds to me that your trying to compensate for to big a low speed jet\ two low a pop off pressure by turning in the idle mixture screw. Try fitting a smaller low speed jet and then you will be able to feed more idle mixture...

Freestyle Xscream 865 Reminder to change wrist-pin bearings every 50 hours!!

Yes you will need to match port the sleeve/ sleeves Good news on the welding , sort of a win there. I am sure the new cylinder tat team scream are doing are 900cc, may be best to send a message to chuckie on that. The advantage of going bigger sleeve is it will clean up any damage after its been...

Freestyle Xscream 865 Reminder to change wrist-pin bearings every 50 hours!!

You should be able to get that welded up no issues at all. Just need some machining afterwards. You will have to clean up the ports where the weld / damage has hurt them as well. Might be the right time to put in there bigger bore sleeves they make. Im not sure of the damage to the cases but...

Freestyle Who wants actual dyno numbers?

I dont see what I am running really makes a difference but since you asked. Yes I was running a 8mm dasa but I sold it and put in one of my ported stock cylinder surf port jobs. That way I can demonstrate it to my customers before they buy an engine off me. I only bash the crap products gil.

Freestyle Who wants actual dyno numbers?

Agree with that , but as long as its got repeatability that one dyno can be used to measure alot of engines on the same day. Its when you try to measure different engines on different dynos its of limited use. If you have a look every one is talking about a dyno testing day for all engines. I...

Freestyle Who wants actual dyno numbers?

Yeah it would be a great way to do it, figures on the dyno. Then all in the same hull for a riders impression. Awesome way to get real world info for prospective buyers. Having that info can only help push us further forward in development to get the most out of the engines. I would be right...

Freestyle Who wants actual dyno numbers?

I will correct anyone who writes stupid comments in a thread I am active in. I have also commented alot of times on how good you cad work is.If you look for the negative you will find it however Just because you can draw a part on cad does not make you an engine tuner. It clearly doesnt make you...

Freestyle Who wants actual dyno numbers?

Try and get the ones from the 5mm cylinders you sell with 8mm port timing in them. you can lift ports up. kinda hard to port them down
