A 760 will always be down in the rear. The head was machined like that from the factory. Its not normal for the 64x cylinder to drop a sleeve its more of a 61x thing so I would not be suspecting that at all. The 760 head also is a stronger casting compared to 61x heads. My money would be on the...

You could if you ok with the hassle use full compliment bearings which have no races to hold the bearings apart and so have more rollers underload at the same time spreading the load. The bearing shop should be able to help you on this one

Its not the bit missing from the bottom I would be worried about I would just blend that back in and it will be ok. Its the top bit of the case where you want to seal on thats no good. Oh and the offer on it, Sorry im building myself up another dasa stroker engine

Those cases are toast bud. Thats a sealing surface there and I wouldn't weld cast on s sealing surface like that. Billet should be able to handle the weld ok and so you should be fine there
