My bendix engages then just spins. I have been trying to start my ski now that I have spark and now the bendix won't stay hooked up. The battery is fine it was just charged and I also tried jumping it same ********. The conections are good and I tried jumping the solenoid and still the not more...
I run 2 attwood 500's and the attwood float switch. The scupper takes car of the water when I am moving and the bilge only comes on if I really swamp it or its standing still. The switch works well I would mount it next to the pump because if its not next to it the pump the pump will run dry...
the stock pole is 17.5 inches around thats equivelent to 5.75" diameter. The biggest aerosleeve would would cover that. Pricy though I bet it would look real good though with no seems anywhere.
Those carbon sleeves that Geek is using for exhaust tubes look like they would be good for reinforcing the pole. I don't know if they make them big enough though.
Are all the head pipes the same? I had one on my 650sx that said "Mariner Factory Pipe". I know they all use the kawasaki 650 bolt patternbut some have a diff dia hole.
I already pulled the box appart and went through the whole routine checking conections and running only the wires I needed. I have another cdi on the way if that doesn't work I don;t know what to do.
Now I have no spark again. I put everything back in the box and it had spark. Put the box back together and start it up. Hit the throttle big puff of smoke then nothing. Seriously wtf is this things prob. I swear it doesn't want to be ridden. I pull the box appart and I can't get any spark no...
Unplug the white wire in the ebox I had a short somewhere in the wire that goes from the box to the switch wire plugs. Spray the plug with some wd40 and keep it out of the bottom of the hull. It doesn't take much to complete that circuit.
I've got rec tubbies glassed in on my square. I haven't figured out how to up load pics yet. If I was doing them again I would just put a fillet in the edge with some fairing compound and fill the screw holes in. Trying to make them look like part of the hull is more trouble then its worth. The...
I have a gromet thats plugged up in my box (from an xl700) I think I might run another ground through there. I have had problems with bad grounds before. Would another ground from the battery to the block help out?
I disconnected everything that wasn't needed for spark and jumped the solenoid. Big hot spark from the wires to the head. I started connecting each wire one by one till everything was wired back up and I still had good spark :261: . Then I bumped the box and I had no spark. Disconnect the stop...
It was 3 other msd coils all checked out for resistance across the wires and connection. When the coil went it had weak spark. It would start fine and idle but when you hit the throttle it sounds like a jake brake. I noticed it on the trailer way before it ran on one cylinder in the ocean then...
I greased my plugs and I always try to only touch the grounded nut part on the plugs. First thing I do is disconnect the stop switch when I have elec probs. I m thinkin of getting a kawi switch.
I have been in the ocean twice this year with my sj and both times my ski has lasted about 1/4 tank and then something in the ebox takes a ****. First it was the coil now its the CDI (I think). When I open my ebox it is always clean and dry. All the voltages on the stator check out as per the...
I had a 650sx with a single 44sbn head and factory pipe. I ran the stock pipe as well and there wasn't much diff. The Stock pipe is one of the better oem ones. The factory pipe chamber for the 650 is kinda small compared to the sj and 750 pipes which you could prob squeeze in the hull. The...
I just got in. I had a great time. Big thanx to Pete the sponsors and everyone else that put it together. I've got a bunch of great pics I am gonna try and upload.
