Thanks man I need to call them. I found another one in Jersey and one in Raystown so we will see. I may have an sj this weekend.
That new sxr paint looks like an old 650sx
I forgot about Hamilton, I will have to give them a call. That dealer in New Hope sucks. Every time I called there for parts they asked me what year the ski is and when I told them it was a 1990 they would say "Sorry we can't get parts for machines that old 'CLICK'"
I talked to a few more dealers and they keep giving me the same line. They say they are hard to get and they don't order many. This is such BS I have to go through this. I bet if I wanted an SHO tommorow I would have no problem. I hate couches.
They have it down to a science. Adet has to block the jet with his knees so that he is barely moving. That 650 can barely get going fast enough so there is tons of spray. Barefooting is super hard and the guy he is pulling has been doing it for a while.
It's Cycle City in Broomall. I have called alot of other dealers and I pretty much get the same thing that they are hard to find local. I am just going to start calling dealers till I find one then ask for my deposite back when I do.
I put a deposite down on one in August told the dealer I wanted to pick it up in April. In January I told him I wanted to pick it up as soon as he could get it and I still don't have a ski or any idea when I might get one. Is anyone else having this problem?
Those handholds look so much better than just about everything else out there in terms of fit and finish. Adet16v has a set of Louie's sponsons and they are much better quality than tubbies. The tubbies I had were booggered up on the screw holes and the layup wasn't as good as Louie's sponsons.
I have shipped tons of stuff over seas using USPS with no problems. Other carriers have not been so good and cost a ton more. Although everytime I ship something to France it seems they are never happy.
Even if it does add power and it is lighter. I can think of a ton of other things I would get for my ski before spending $500 on a carbon chamber. At that price you could get you cylinder ported instead or swap domes and run race gas for a whole summer.
Run it on the hose for a good half hour and restrict the water so it comes up to temp. I would pull fuel filters and look for any crap in them after you run it. Make sure sure it idles fine and pull the flame arrestors and make sure when your blipping the throttle its not spitting sparatic gobs...
