    Pre-Mix ratios

Kind of off topic but my owners manual for my 2007 Tacoma says the oil my truck needs is 0w20. It is imposible to find at regular auto parts stores and is super expensive. It even says that you can use 5w20 but its not recomended. So I take it to the dealer for my first oil change cus it was $20...

    Pre-Mix ratios

I mix 16oz to 5gallons cus its easy and comes out to 40:1. I read some where that a test was done and more oil made more power to a point. Some where around 30:1. The reasoning was reduced friction/less heat. After a certain point the oil starts displacing air/fuel and the power drops off. This...

    sn or rn for freestyle??

I think they handle very different. The round nose feels more balenced. Its also easier to ride out of anything where the ski gets under water.

    Career

A friend of mine and his father did this. His dad never went to college just flew as a hobbie then got in with a company that has their own jet. I swear he works like 4 days a month and makes some serious coin. My buddy got a bussiness degree and does the same thing and makes a ton too. He...

Can we drive on the beach down that way? How about we do a Corsons ride after labor day and a flat water ride mid summer?

    NJ/PA Freeride 2008

Bulls island would be good for a smaller ride. We could hang out on the wing dam or setup shop on Eagle or Hendrick Island. Sucks no booze or dogs in the camp ground though.

sj Stock motor tricks jetting water routing ect.

Thanks for all the input guys. The first things that I am getting rid of are the bars, grips, and throttle. I can't stand the stock bars or grips and I have been known to break stock throttles. My last two skis I just threw all the parts I could buy at them and didn't really pay attention to the...

sj Stock motor tricks jetting water routing ect.

I don't want to get a pipe and the 08's come with a stainless prop. If I get a pipe then I will have to get a girdled head and there is no way I would be able to order domes with stock compression. It will just end with me building a ski with way too much power and no reliability. Just going to...

sj Stock motor tricks jetting water routing ect.

Does a jetworks/water bypass make much of a difference? If I remove the choke plates am I going to have to rejet/tune the carbs? Are aftermarket flame arrestors/adapters going to make much of a difference? Are there any other tweaks that can be done to a stock sj motor such as jetting cutting...

    improve on dual cooling

I tried a number of configuration on my sj with a b pipe. The setup that worked best was: 2 lines to the exhaust manifold and 2 out of the head one line goes to the bottom of the pipe one goes overboard From the top of the pipe to the stinger I think warming up the water in the engine...

    2008 handlepole work on fx-1?

I used an fx1 pole with a squarenose plate on my squarenose and it had plenty of throw. But no where close to getting hull to hull and the cable and nozzle were maxed out. You fx guys are going to have plenty of replacement poles and cables.

    pivot bolt dimensions?

I have a 650sx pole bolt that is perfect for a round nose pole. It doesn't stick out the other side and stays where you crank it.

    Tips for bigger riders?

I am 6'1 245, the things that have helped me the most is keeping the pole as low as you can get it. Also try not to muscle with the ski with the bars let your legs do all the work. Practice riding with one hand and mashing the gas and keeping the ski straight. Just riding with one hand is going...
