If that 650 FPP fits the mod pipe should fit. The Blaster mod is narrower. It doesn't come close to touching the side of the hull and a limited pipe will rub on some sj's. Clearing the gas tank and hood is another story.
There def needs to be some grindage done to the ring, as is it doesn't go much further than stock. The setup is perfect for CATS with the mounting holes and the steering cable end. There may be a problem with the steering cable binding on the pump if you've done a cheap quick steer mod.
The new superJets have a big hub prop like that. Also the new Hooker impeller from Impros is a big hub prop. They have great hookup compared to regular props. You can also set them farther back in the pump to help even more with hookup because they clear the stator hub.
There isn't a big jump going from a single carb 650 to a single carb 750 like there is on a Yamaha going from a 650 to a 701. Don't do the swap unless you have a solid 750/800 to throw in there. Those Single Carb Kawi's are very mild.
I would not use wiescos unless the builder recommended them. I have seen too many of them seize. I know they say they need to be setup correctly and warmed up slowly, but thats not always the case.
Now you know where the cost of his handpoles come from... R&D!!! That thing is so far ahead of anything else its crazy. I hope they keep this stream of innovation coming.
Boring it yourself is risky and you will not get everything out of the pipe if you do it yourself. I personally would get a modified one from Team Scream. The modifications they do are pretty extensive and aren't something you are going to be able to do yourself. B-pipes are tricky to setup and...
29er's are great for soft or loose ground especialy when climbing. You would be amazed at the crap they will roll over with ease. You can also run lower tire pressures which softens up the ride a little an will keep you from sinkin in. I love mine but when things get tight it gets tricky. They...
There are some batteries out there for choppers that are super light and super powerful. They aren't cheap but if they can crank over a big vtwin with ease 800+cc's should be no sweat. I can't find anywhere that sells them though.
Other than the 4lb battery from Wally World are there any other light battiers out there? I have seen seen some for bikes but nothing that looks like it would be a direct replacement. This one http://www.ebattonline.com/ looks like it could work but it would be a pain to try to get it to charge...
I have seen skis with driveline issues do similar things. The impeller binds and pretty much stops the engine. Also ignition issues could cause it but being an 04 I would have my doubts uless it is used in salt water. Worn out lanyard clips can also make the ski cut out like that.
