    V- FORCE 4

I like VF2s because the cages are made well. VF3s have cheapo plastic cages which I have had to replace after hydrolocking a motor. I probably couldn't tell the difference in performance but Im sure there are some that would swear by one or the other.

    V- FORCE 4

Except I wouldn't trade an Iphone 6 for an Iphone 3. I would run VF2s any day over the 3s.

    Kammander k1 1200 triple

I'm just thinking, lets say you get this going to its full potential. Is there anybody in the world that can actually hold onto it for a full race? There's really only a handful of guys that can go a full race with the stock pipe triples that they run now. Just sayin.

    Why don't I ever see dyno's?

I dont know what got him banned eventually, but it must of been pretty bad considering he threatened to shoot me in one post and didn't get banned.

    Why don't I ever see dyno's?

I dont read what the 4 stroke guys do, but the 2 stroke guys will use tach and gps for testing. 10 rpm here or there, .25 mph improvements, shim plate, bend prop, adjust nozzle angle, stuff like that.

    Why don't I ever see dyno's?

Have you ever visited greenhulk? The answer is, yes they test the crap out of there setups. They dont have 15 props, but they will pull there prop 15 times and bend it then retest.

    Why don't I ever see dyno's?

Hey Tim. I'm glad you take the time to try and educate people, whether they want to hear it or not. I talked to you for a while at finals last year and I got a lot of info from you. Thanks!

    Sbt carb anything

Is this a lesson you've learned recently? I've seen you around for a very long time Vumad. Certainly you've been told by now that genuine Mikuni is the only thing you should buy.

    New Yamaha 3cyl 4-stroke

were talking prowatercross rules here. even with lower displacement, a well tuned wet piped sj is faster to the first buoy.

    New Yamaha 3cyl 4-stroke

This conversation is getting way off track, but I dont think youre allowed to run the 760 head, only the cylinder. I wouldn't want to do that but I guess thats what guys do. Also, IJSBA lets you run ignition which is pretty stupid considering its stock class. If the SJ1000 ever comes to...

    New Yamaha 3cyl 4-stroke

Yea I had basically the same thing happen to me at St. George. Most races are IJSBA though, so you don't normally have to go up against a piped SJ. I would much rather be on the SXR in rough water though.

    New Yamaha 3cyl 4-stroke

Agreed. Look at the state of stand up racing right now. The predominant ski is still the SXR, a ski that hasn't been manufactured for several years now. Yes, you can still buy a superjet brand new but they are not very competitive in any class besides lites (and you have to put a 760 cylinder...

    New Yamaha 3cyl 4-stroke

The rumor is that motor is going in the Superjet for 2017. I know, I know....just sayin. This actually came from a somewhat reputable source.

    Other Modifications you regret.

Older solas mags destroy PUMP bearings. Midshaft bearings is another story. Haven't heard of that happening til this thread.

Haha. This one is my favorite. Its brilliant, use an alternator to overcome the problem with total loss!!
