They may be selling these as 2up and 3up models, but according to the guy over on green hulk who tested these, thats really pushing it. He said you have to have two small people to get 2 up on the 2 seater.
This might of gone un-noticed by many, but I see this as a huge leap forward (albeit a simple thing). The main problem with 4 stroke standups is water ingestion. This could help remedy that problem.
Who knows, maybe this could eventually lead to standup sales. The first watercraft I ever owned was a Seadoo SPX. After a few months I was bored and bought a standup the next season. This type of product can get new people in the sport, and maybe convert them to standup riders.
I think these bozos are there whether there's a new watercraft or not. This just means they'll be on a new watercraft instead of a 10 year old $5K watercraft. Overall, its a positive step for the industry.
