run the complete 701 cdi
check your compression it should be about 180 if you want it to go off the bottom.
put 120 lows and 115 highs
2.3 needle and seat
about 20 psi pop off
the stock jetting is great for emission poope for anything else
Tell us then how it goes
No you will need more fuel. You have taken away a restriction and it will mean the pull on the jets is lower.
It's the way I wrote it. When I read what I wrote again I figured how you would have thought that
Good luck with running more timing up top on a big bore I hope you have heaps of pistons avliable to you, The transfer flow over the top of the pistons is what is responsible for alot of the cooling and there isnt the transfer flow in a big bore in comparision to the extra heat energy being...
My hx I used to run up to 35 degrees down low where the dynamic compression was low but when it came on then you had to get rid of that timing fast. Most big bore two strokes want to be at about 15 degrees at there max hp figure and a little bit higher at there max torque figure. When you start...
Think of it this way. When you reduce the crank case area so there is less volume then pressure may be higher but it drops quicker than a larger cases that has a lower pressure but doesn't drop pressure so fast. This is why people are not, reducing case volume any more and why reed spacers are a...
I think the extra fuel he is using is from the extra power. But as was stated before it's easy to remove them and try it.
Mark44 did

V- force threes come with stuffers. They can also be removed you can run with or with out. Every one has their own choice. I have not found a situation where they have made more power. I would be keen to hear of your results when you do take them out and try.
Why run them in a set well they are...
I dont normally right technical stuff n here anymore because of the stupidity that happens when people don't understand it.
But lets give it a go
First you have to remember that air has mass but unlike a liquid it can be compressed. So when the reed shuts the air rushing up behind it has to go...
Yeah your right on the pump. The jet unit is about 60% efficient. Any time you can pick up efficiency there your on a win. The jet sprint guys will say 1% pump gain is equal to 10% engine power
