Any tips on drilling the hood for the latch on a new hood? I figure I should strap it down but do you just eyball the latch position from there & drill? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Luke

YZ, have you had any problems with the spring moving to the right at all? while putting this together it looks like it could move easy. I was thinking about making a cut-out in the bracket like the old style to hold it in place. Luke

I just got in my WDK bracket and was wanting to know does this new design work with a pole spring? Here is a pic of the one I got & then the one from there site that has a specific cutout to hold the spring. Luke

One more suggestion for you if you decide to produce these. To keep the rack from moving(rattling) at all make a little bracket that has 3 bolts to tighten against the receiver hitch from below.

Thanks for the comments guys, here are some more progress pics. I'm going to do one more layer on the nose and just started on the hood. I'm going to go back down in a few minutes and lay up a layer of mat then weave and let it cure. I'll then lay up 1 or 2 biax layers from the inside and cut...

I was able to snap one pic before the battery died. This is one layer of mat & one biax, I'm going to smooth it out and lay one layer of light weave and it should be good.

Waterproof, you mean I can't run it like this??? J/K Just got done with glassing the nose up, but I don't have the camera at the house, I'll take some pics in the next few days, and have some more done by then.....hopefully. As for the pole bolt I have the sides of the nose low enough so...
