    Footholds are for freestyle. I cut some full length slots in my SJ lake cruiser. They made it much more comfortable and I can still hook my feet in for wake jumping.

    You can mill it down to the edge of the squishband if a stock head gasket is used. You need to make sure the squish is at least parallel with the piston. Many like to cut the squish a degree or two more than the piston crown.

    A/M hulls are all short for flips and built to handle side landings. You can roll a SJ but everyone I know caved in the side learning how to do it. There would be no market for A/M hulls if people didn't think flips were cool.

    Start increasing the spark lead until a piston melts. You can hear the detonation if your exhaust is very quiet. A stock airbox will help a lot with intake noise.

    The auto bailer has to have a tiny hole in that little plastic fitting that should be mounted high in the hull. It will take on water if the hole is clogged or if the top of the hose is below the water line.

    That gasket is for a CDK2. Find a manifold from a 1991-1995 650 and a carb from a 91-93 650sx. The X2 version throttle cable pulls from the top and will work with the X2 flame arrestor.

    The stock small pin 750 (CDI no.3729) advances 3* and stays there. Adding a 7* advancer plate with a tight head can be too much for full throttle runs on pump gas. Big pin 750s go to 20* and then retard back to 14*. They are much safer to use.

    Why would you lengthen the pipe? It will turn more rpm with the 550 pump.
