Called TBM today & asked about First Gen & 2nd Gen TBM Yamaha 62T Flywheels. Flywheels look the same, first gen haven't been produced in 3 yrs. The magnets changed & the screws on the back changed length. Thats what I was told today.

If your going that size motor & B pipe the 148 would work fine. IMO go 148 S/B mag. I hope to try the PFP soon with my 1000 & 148 mag.

I don't think you can compare a Matrix, Rickter, etc to any High roller hull!!! The Extra 5K gets you design, quality, on the water & riding!!! Good luck with your build, you might consider a bob!!! IMO

Lucas's dry pipe 1000 makes its power from Mid to Top, it has bottom end, but the real power is mid to top which is what you want for flatwater. The B pipe 1000 makes its power bottom to mid which is perfect for the surf. I'm sure in the next month or two my ski will have the dry pipe...

Nothing, you can leave it alone or bore it to match. I want every bit of performance from mine so its bored stock shoe to match the pump.

Brett Just send that pipe to my place, I'll PM you my UPS acc #..!!!!! That FX1 is tight under the hood, FPF might be tight... Maybe try to find a type 9 factory pipe since your building the hood. Its the same as the PFP just sits on top & you can run a waterbox. LMK if u wanna sell that...

I ran my XS 6mil/860cc, B pipe, TL (Stock SJ hull & Superfreak hull) with a 144 standard mag & it ripped, also ran that pump with my XS846 SS perfect set up... I think anything under 900cc 144 will work fine, after that if your running a b pipe you gotta go 148. B Pipe big cc motor 148 Mag...
