Alright. Helicoil worked. Torqued to 16 ft lbs.

Did the blocks sit in a square hole so they didn’t turn? What year was your ski?

Does anyone know what type of insert Krash uses for mounting the pump? Is it similar to a superjet?

You could smell a burning smell and see smoke. It’s a common problem I believe with the Krash midbearings. I guess mine so happened to do this while running on the hose. All fixed now. Brand new wsm housing and bearings/seals. And pump aligned with cold fusion tool

Is it possible to over heat a mid bearing running the ski to long on land? While flushing my Krash out I was running it for 5 minutes with hose and the mid bearing seals melted. Although the pump was not aligned right. Maybe that’s what caused it? It’s fixed now, I thought it was from running to...

Also everyone’s favorite question… oil. Is Amsoil marine ok to run in them? That’s what I run in my other skis at 40:1

Alright, buying a mint 2019 superjet with low hours. Guy never greased mid bearing. Thinking of pumping in .68 oz of grease. That’s what the manual says to do after the first initial 10 hours. What do you think? Then every 1 year it said to pump .10 oz in. Can’t running the ski too long on...

Does anyone torque motor mounts? Seems most people I talk to just snug em down. Kinda hard to get a torque wrench on some of the freestyle skis

Used 1211 to seal up my last motor. Didn’t like how it spread. Anyone use Permatex motoseal? Thinking about trying it out. If not I’ll use hondabond.

Yeah I’ve had issues in past before with some gaskets not sealing dry. Also on old skis where the cases probably aren’t flat. I’ll just play it safe and use 1211 on gaskets

Ok I think I’ll just use the 1211 since an engine builder I trust uses it. Also has a higher temp rating. Anyone run this on gaskets too?
