Why do so many people use 1211? Seems group K and a lot of engine builders use it

You think it would be ok on exhaust manifold gasket? It’s only rated for 302f

After reading I will definitely use 1184. 1211 seems to be a (rtv) and not really rated for gasoline. Even shows on their data sheet. Only thing is 1184 has a temp rating up to 302f. But if my motor gets that hot something is wrong.

Is threebond 1184 equivalent to Hondabond/kawibond? I’ve been using 1184 because it’s thinner than threebond 1211 and seems to dry pretty fast. Anyone else use 1184 on case and gaskets?

Have a 2021 krash footrocket and I’m super close to landing a flat water flip. Thinking about cutting the ride plate flush? What will this effect? Handle worse?

My 650sx impeller seems to have a lot of play on the splines. Runs good and no issues. But my other skis have almost no play. Wondering if it’s normal?

No runaway or hanging idle. Only does it when cranking idle up. Apparently that’s just what the Krash skis do. Everyone I know has them set not to idle

off topic question. Do you guys set yours skis up to idle on water? All my other skis idle great. The Krash idle I had to turn up and it idled great in water. Took it out and ran on hose later and it idled at 5000 rpm. Had to turn it back down. I’m confused lol. At 3000 rpm out of water it would...

I got a 21 krash footrocket 1200. Been running great. I was wondering if it took on water and the engine bay was full would the ski float? Or would it sink to the bottom? I don’t know if they have foam under the tray.

On freestyle skis, do you have your idle set so it dies after a few seconds or so it just keeps idling till kill switch is hit? If I set mine to constantly idle in the water, it idles crazy high out of the water. Few people said it should be setup to idle for a few seconds in water. Krash footrocket

So I broke in my Krash footrocket, and found it’s important to torque the exhaust manifold, which is hard to get to without disassembling the pipe. Should I keep an eye on them or take it apart and torque them? I torqued everything else

When sealing the bottom end, do you put sealant on both cases or just one?

Ended up tapping the scupper in the stock Krash mount with some sealant. Works well!
