28 degrees is usually fine in the middle of the RPM range however it could be too much if the mixture is too lean.. You want it to be close to stock at whatever RPM the pump is holding at full throttle. You have to balance the variables at full throttle to avoid meltdown.
Right now you lack the basic knowledge to make a jetski work the way you want it to. The internet cant help you very much, it will often cause confusion. If you don't want to put in the time then pay someone you trust and be happy.
Elon needs to produce air taxis and supersonic airliners. Everyone needs to get to the launch pad for an orbit or two and be back home before dinner. Maybe after he gets those self driving Teslas worked out.
On the political side, if you look at the landscape from another galaxy its funny. Give a billionaire a tax break and everything is okay. Give a slave an extra helping of cheese and everyone loses their mind.
I would start with a 115g spring. Adjust the main jet so that you can get rich of peak rpm at full throttle. Adjust the pilot so you get good response from 1/4 throttle. A large single tends to go lean after several seconds of full throttle. Be aware of this because you can burn a piston on...
You will need to pull the front cover to see if it has a timing advance plate. They are typically 6 degrees which is too much for pump gas. I drill and tap new holes in the cover for 3 degrees advance.. The E-box needs to be opened to tell what CDI is in it. Stock 750sx is marked 3733, the...
It probably is running higher than ideal combustion temps. This should be okay as long as good fuel is used and the exhaust is stock. Any modifications will require you to remove the adjuster caps for tuning.
You will have to do some research and find out if your piston gets hot enough for long enough to take advantage of a higher performance or air cooled type of oil. Few standups ever exceed TCW3 temperatures long enough to matter. Plus its corrosion protection is very good. Im a fan of Maxima...
One line in and two out is fine as long as the in line is at least 3/8" and the two outs are 1/4". Make sure the pisser stream is solid! ADA heads are prone to leaks and any combustion gas in the water jacket will make the head hotter. Each carb must be tuned individually. If you set both...
Depends on how the squishband is cut and the fuel you use. You may be able to get timing over 20 degrees but I would start lower and ease up to peak rpm and stop,
Kawasaki 650-800 standup pumps are all 140mm. The FX1 was designed right before Kawasaki introduced their 750. At that moment in time, 550s were the dominant race boats. Most of those guys used 440 pumps with high rpm 550s. In 1991 the FX1 was an effort to upgrade the state of the art. In...
Best of the worst? The problem is, it takes a lot of blade angle to get close to soaking up a 701s power below 7000rpm. High pitched impellers dont work very well on standups because inlet pressure is low. A low port 701 with a B-pipe works well with a 144 pump but is mismatched when driving...
