YES ..... YOU CAN TAKE A 61X CYLINDER AND BORE IT TO 84mm WITHOUT CHANGING SLEEVES .... Been done, running it ... Only down fall is no more bores at 84mm.....but so what, 61x cylinders are cheap For the price of pistons I would buy new, pro x pistons are $90 ish each

I have seen and rode some 61x/61x motors with just timing , compression, right amount of water in the pipe, just rip... Where you would never think its an old school single carb motor... Best bang for the buck, I have seen these for $250-350 running...

I look forward to putting sometime on this hull... Hope to have a write up in a week or two with my opinion ... Should be fun to compare with my current surf setup..

Landing in front in the wash (NOT behind the wave) is the sweet spot soft landings, imo.... Ski should land flat, with the nose pointing towards shore.... none of this nose high re entry stuff, landing behind the wave, etc. But the NJ FX1 guys are the re entry kings

Problem with the 150 is no one has props, everything has to be custom from skat... I ran a 150 with my Dasa 1100, ski performed better with the 148...

Yes OEM bearings and seals... The drive shaft maxx supplies is very soft and dont last.. Call Chris Jetmaniac for the correct oem length shaft that will last... The Maxx pump is heavier than a Skat, so Ive been told...

Plus, Pole , Steering, MSD TL , Plus the PV are $500, 148 or 150 Mag pump, Prop , Trim, motor mounts, Start / Stop, Pipe... It adds up quick I would guess another 10-15K to build this ski ... I was just asking above what Eric sells a turn key ski for to see if its better to buy RTR or build...
