Those ARE race carbs! We didn't make them for waterdisco. :) Use a 15 or 20 mid-jet if you can find them. Those carbs will hit. You will like them. I find them very easy to tune in. Are you running the fuel pumps on the carbs with dual pulse lines?
When I worked at FEDEx certain chemicals could not be ship together or even transported together in the same truck. We all know how fun that 2 part foam can be. Maybe that is why but not sure.

Wood in FLA isn't cheep. I remember just the cost of Wamilton's Crates (material only) was about $170 at one time. That's was very little scrap too. Wamilton built some nice crates too. Too nice sometimes. Maybe you got one of those?
Bo- I would use the "B". You are going to do some grinding to get the headpipe to fit over the PV's. I'm not sure about the Factory Dry working with the PV's.

I like to use all OEM Yamaha waterline with good quality zip-ties. The ones with the metal clip in it. Don't use the plastic clips. Double loop the zip-tie too. Never had one problem.
