A. Not a tank. Trinity hull. Lighter than a SJ. (hee hee) B. Got full spark, tried swapping CDIs with a running ski, same problem. Checking...trigger right now. but has perfect spark. Still feels like timing is off. Wtf??? Is there a way this SBT crank could cause the timing to be off???

Zach, 2004 and newer kawi stators do not power the CDI, the battery does. Its a completely different electrical setup than a yamaha.... It is looking like CDI.

How can a crank spin out of time? That is interesting. Voges, it has great spark, usually when a stator goes, no spark.

Xscream pole has been bulletproof on mine. ...and I broke a LOT of poles including aftermarket ones.

Leave flame arrestors alone until you get a pipe. Then mod the stocker by pulling out rubber seals. Aftermarket ones do not help anything. I say leave choke on. If you get an air leak and it revs out on the trailer, choking it is the only way to killl it. Even pulling the plug wires wont...
