    PV stroker compression??

anyone have any idea what the cold cranking compreesion should be for a 5mil PV engine to run pump gas?? the current cranking compression is about 220psi on a snap-on guage and the engine squish is around .055. I know that 220psi is way to high but with exhaust ports that move I'm not sure..

    stroker piston ??

Man I gotta tell ya Jeff, I'm really starting to see the HUGE & MANY advantages one would have running a GP 800 with all the WDK goodies..Originally I thought, Oh! no big deal a 5 mil Lamey Stroker should be easy, after all its the baby stroker, the mildest stroker...Man-O-Man what a pain in the...

    stroker piston ??

I Greatly Appreciate all the help guys, the template thing is GREAT but I'm using R&D/Riva flat-tops which are supposedly for this application...So DASA/Racers Edge sent me out a new set of Weisco pistons that are a few mm shorter and a totally different style piston than the Riva boxed units...

    stroker piston ??

So I'm building(tring to build)a Lamey?DASA 5mil PV stroker and so far nothing but problems, inaccurate machining and loooong delays..Any-way today im tring to assemble the top end AGAIN!!! and have found out that the pistons are hitting the crank--yes, the crank on the down stroke, and thus it...

    Freestyle PV's

at what rpm should the PV's start to open on a lamey freestyle cylinder?? and how does one check that setting..DASA/Racers edge tells me that mine are set to open at 5000rpm but that sure seems late in the rmp game for freestyle to me..:brap:

    Flat Top Piston Question

purchase a 4mil base spacer plate from racers-edge(dasa) or riva and throw some domed pistons in there, I doubt you will even notice a difference... and just think of how many over bores would be possible using pro-x pistons(not to mention money saved), the cylinder would most likely out last...

    Flat top or dome

I have personally had 4 flat-top engines, most in the last few years and before that, way to many Yami domed/pumped engines..Flat-tops *might* produce like 4 Hp more(on a twin) and be a bit lighter by being shorter and forged weisco's, but I don't think the gain(if noticable) is worth the price...

    b pipe vs dry pipe

Nothing can beat an R&D dry for top end or power, thats why the Brazilians & Japanese are still making them out of carbon. While other companies are make adapter manifolds to bolt up the R&D pipe to SXR's and Rius still uses this pipe on all his record holding SJ's..just my 2cents

    new RRP steering system

20+hp over a B pipe already exsists, don't quote me on exact #'s here but from what i remember, I had seen a dyno charts on FPP's web page quite a while ago where a superstock engine with a "B" mod pipe was producing around 115? and I have seen advertised/and heard from a super reliable source...

    xft footholds

currently IMO there is no better foothold available than the XFT, they hold you secure and don't wear out the tops of your feet on long weekends, just don't get any crazy ideas, like letting go of the ski:bigeyes:

    B pipe vs dry pipe

the blue type 4 you have is an awsome performer with or without ECWI, So to answer your main question,, No, switching to a "B" pipe is not that big of a deal if at all..The "B" is a bit more reliable but thats really about it, spend your cash somewhere else, like an ADA billet girdle head with...

New EME exhaust system for superjets!

I would absolutely be in for 1, possibly 3, but these baby fuel tanks have got to go..if WD can make a composite tank that holds 5-6 gal that accomidates a very similarly sized pipe(which all fits in a SJ hull), than I'm guessin that Malone should surely be able to also make/sell a similar tank...
