    Super Jet Foothold advise

One other thing - it feels very weird to have your feet that far back at first, especially on dry land! Don't freak out about putting them all the way at the back even if it feels totally wrong in the garage - that's where most people have them.

    Super Jet Foothold advise

It also depends on the footholds. Some are designed to curve around the back of the gunwale so you don't have any choice about how far forward to put them. XFTs are like that, for example.

Glad to hear you're up and running again Harrison! I'm sure Anita is too :cool2:

    New SJ Rider

Welcome! That's a very clean looking ski - great find! For flatwater freestyle I've always liked the stock rideplate, which you can D-cut for free to improve performance. Worx 201 is a great rideplate for hookup. As for a prop, I've never used one but eveybody seems to be loving the hooker prop...

Other OK, why do people put their bilge fittings in the tray?

That's where mine are - I love it when they are pumping water!! But, I also reinforced heavily underneath since I was concerned about the hole weakening the hull.

Super Jet continuous drip back left corner 93 SJ

You may have some cracks under the mat but nothing that won't last a few months (or probably years, especially if you are not hard on your ski). 5200 isn't going to help you much right now - sounds like you're in for a tray-out refoam and some reinforcement. Check the FAQs for help, or find...

Nursing a broken foot, Matrix style...

Well, and vet wrap: same elasticated bandage you buy for humans, but twice as wide, 4 times as long, and a fraction of the price!

Super Jet continuous drip back left corner 93 SJ

I ran my RN with a 6" crack all the way through the hull under the bondline for a season and a half and the foam wasn't wet. Go figure.

Super Jet continuous drip back left corner 93 SJ

It's really not that big a deal to repair and needn't cost a bunch. I think you'd be crazy not to ride out the season and then fix it this winter. There are plenty of threads on refoaming and reinforcement. For the cost of some fiberglass, resin, foam and time you can make this ski better than...

I learned a long time ago not to let her use any horse remedies on me...!

Nursing a broken foot, Matrix style...

I had a similar problem and that worked great for me. Our lake ritual was Suzi driving down while I taped my ankle in the passenger seat! The dashboard of the truck looked like an ER with bandages, tape and scissors everywhere :-) Check online for bandaging techniques - there are different...

    Other Volt question!

Cables will definitely cause those symptoms. Try pulling the plug caps off and tug at a few of the strands in the cable - I bet some pull right out. If so then chop back until you get to good wire (if you have enough slack).

    SXR ok. Greenies nice t-shirt.

Like I said, I suspect hydroelectric power truly is green in the long run because of the sheer about of electricity produced and the reliable source of input energy. I'm told the jury is out on wind turbines.

    SXR ok. Greenies nice t-shirt.

Indeed, but they also require a :-):-):-):-)-ton more energy to build them. I wonder how long they have to operate before they replace the energy it took to put them there? Only after that are they truly useful from an environmental standpoint.

    SXR ok. Greenies nice t-shirt.

What pisses me off about so-called environmentalists is the belief that as soon as you are running anything on electricity then you are some paragon of cleanliness. It never occurs to them that electricity has to come from somewhere, and that both nuclear and fossil fuel electricity production...

Sounds like a switch problem. Or it's haunted.
