please tell me you are using a high voltage reader and not a standard voltmeter...the voltage should be well above 10,000VDC.

Be sure to test in saltwater for most accurate reading.

Post up your symptoms and what you've tried already and maybe we can help. There's a couple guys on here who know a thing or two about skis. :fing02:
 
Checkmy other post. Has no visible spark, changed the coil, still no spark, then randomly there is spark. Starts and runs and I tried it several times and it was good. Went and ate lunch, came back down and no spark????

Cables will definitely cause those symptoms. Try pulling the plug caps off and tug at a few of the strands in the cable - I bet some pull right out. If so then chop back until you get to good wire (if you have enough slack).
