For us, the most dangerous part is coming out of the channel between the piers when the waves get big. I always get a little freaked out until I get out and make the turn toward the shore. There is only one way to get back in, aim for the middle between the 2 piers and don't slow down until...

Great photos. Big lakes can get nasty in a very short period of time. I have witnessed Lake Michigan go from flat to very scary in a matter of 1 hour time. It can get tricky riding in those conditions!

I may have to go to the same way you did the carb side mount, but I am going to try above the front foot hold first so it is out of the way.

I just got one as well. I will watch your progress to see if I can gain any pointers. I am going to try and mount the e-box above the front foothold so we will see how that works.
