I live in Naperville and we ride the rivers in the early season and then ride Lake Michigan once it gets a little warmer. Always nice to new people come into the sport.

I have an Aura pole and I just bought Jet Works OVP steering. I am either missing something really obvious, or the bushings that come with the steering are too small for the mounting hole in the pole??? Can anyone else with this setup make me feel really dumb and point out the obvious or share...

How hard is this kit to install yourself? For example, I would say I have moderate mechanic skills, but have never assembled a 701 based motor on my own? Doable, or don't bother?

The good news is that I talked to Jetinetics and they said they will fix the flywheel. Rebuilt stator and new bendix is the plan and hopefully no more dead batteries. Luckily I always ended up dead at the beach and never got stranded last year.

I called and left a message with them. We will see what happens.

Thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate it. It doesn't look like Speedysprocket has the hub I need so back to the drawing board. Not what I expected to see when I pulled the flywheel.

Not sure about the spring or bolt...do you see something I am missing?
