I saw a set of silver mikuni sbn 38s for sale on ebay years ago for 75 bucks each. I thought it was fake but decided to try anyways. They ended up being legit mikunis. Still have them today. Ive seen some sbn 46s for sale on Amazon for around 220 or so. You're saying those are the fakunis?
Sounds like you could have a leaking oring on your seat of the needle and seat or possibly a leaking needle. Wouldn't hurt to do a popoff to verify. Its important to know the actual popoff psi but also you can pump up the pressure a few psi below the popoff pressure and let it set for a few...
Generally speaking, opening the bottom screw and closing the others will give better top end with a slight loss in bottom snap.. you might try the top screw open 1/2 turn with the others closed and see if it gets better.. there's many ways to set up yoir ski for different riding styles.. some...
10/16 hooker would work. But not all impellers are the same. The pitch is just 1 part of it. The root angle and blade thickness also matter too because that will determine how hard the impeller loads the pump. For bottom end and freestyle, skat impellers are very good..they're light and have a...
Those are much better than the stock carbs. Your jetting sounds close. Your water and pipe tuning can affect the power output as well.. how do you have it set? Where are the screws set on the headpipe?
That impeller is probably too much for your engine depending on your reduction nozzle diameter and cone. An over pitched impeller can cause the engine to be gutless especially off the bottom.
Are your 38s like the stock 38s that come from yamaha or are they aftermarket mikunis with dual fuel...
Gonna depend on the compression and fuel you use. Higher octane would need more timing. 30-32 degrees would be ok for pump gas as long as you pull enough timing back out by 6000 rpm. 16-17 degrees at 6k rpm. Then you can run it wide open safely without burning up a piston..
Id say you probably found your issue. Id cut that off and install a duetch connector that way you can remove the ebox separate from the engine and vise versa. Even if that doesn't fix your issue, it should definitely be addressed. Your main ground goes to the stator from the ebox so any shorting...
I agree that the x metal poles look better... on certain skis that have a slight curve in the hood that matches the curve of the pole. Using a pole spring with a rrp style pole is a necessity in my opinion. I dont like the pole super tight.
You can change settings on the zeel cdis as long as you have the proper programming cable. You can download the software on Zeeltronic website for the cdi you have.
Your pipe sounds like its not aligned correctly. Maybe its hitting the hull somewhere or the lord mount is too short. I have the tnt chamber in my superfreak that uses a lord mount similar to that. I had one break and I just 3d printed a grommet out of tpu and got a 3/8 bolt with some stainless...
