Not to totally derail this but were you on Fremont lake this past weekend with your ski? I live on that lake. My son was out on his sn for a bit. Mine is not quite ready for the water yet.

Anything happening on this? I have a chan, the plate I have is pretty solid but always nervous that I have no real option if something happens. Also, mine's cut pretty short, which I like for what I do but would like to experiment a little with a longer one or have one for lake michigan.

Forgot to post this when I got it back a few weeks ago. @JetManiac did a great job repairing this, fresh honing and new pistons. Engine is back together and about ready to go back in the ski for another season.

Looking for a OEM or something that will go in the stock location waterbox for a B1. Don't really want to do the rear exhaust mod right now. Is there a cheap alternative that will fit in the stock waterbox location?

Anyone go the 6 stud bolts for an ADA head? I messed mine up taking them out of an old case. Can't believe this kit new is $80 for 6 bolts, nuts and washers.

I ran one for a few seasons in my SN ski that had a lightly ported 701 and a coffman pipe. You just never know when the guts will give out. If I were you I'd keep an eye out of one for sale on here or post something in the WTB section and run the SN box until then. You might be able to sell...

You sure it's a sn box? I've never heard of anyone doing this in a rn. Does it look like this? I would be concerned that some put a 650 engine in it as well. These aren't really designed to handle the power of a 701, especially with a b pipe added. I don't think it will limit performance...

RN is aluminum and more of a round shape. Less prone to broken baffles, and can handle more power. sn waterbox is really only build to handle 650 engine. RN waterbox has larger exist port but sn exhaust tube can be heated and stretched to fit.
