Is this superjet a good deal?

Looks like a super clean ski, is it just the reflection but why is the orange part of the decal on the bottom of the ski faded?

    Used 62T Ported Cases

No idea, I'm not an expert in case porting but it seems to be a pretty clean job. I tried to take close up pics of the work. Not deep enough to need to epoxy in side wall. If I remember correctly case porting is a little less sensitive than doing the cylinder porting. There's no timing your...

    no bottom end power!

I'd pull the head and see what bore the cylinders are at. If the top end is 650 as well, then no point in bottom end swap. Can't remember what 650 bore is but 701 bore would be 81mm and if it's truly a 760 the it should be something like 84mm

Adding a bailer fitting to Thrust Ez-Flow Pro Trim System.

You could buy an stock pump nozzle that is set up for trim. The one that is used for xmetal trim or C.A.T.S trim. I was using the xmetal trim with a 62T exit nozzle and switched to the thrust trim but didn't change reduction nozzle because I already had it taper bored by zero, thrust trim ring...

    Looking for the perfect upgrade?

Backflips on a superjet hull with a 701 is not impossible but not easy either. I big bore engine in a stock hull would be pretty easy to pull off though. Rickter hull are really nice and easy to ride hull too. You would still need a little better technique to do backflips with a 701 engine...

    Looking for the perfect upgrade?

Alot of it depends on your mechanical skill or time your willing to spend tinkering with your ski. If you just want something that is reliable, a superjet that hasn't been too heavily modded is a good way to go. Also if you buy a superjet almost all of the parts are transferable into an...

Selling my Xmetal Trim kit w/ steering nozzle for 144-148mm pump. It has 1 season of use in Michigan so only about 3-4 months. Comes with what I believe is everything (see pics) including a brand new cable (never installed, just ordered from JetManiac). There are a few nicks in the red...

    JetManiac/Blue 781 - backflip capable

I've got a JM781 in my chan and love it. I've never ridden a +1000cc ski but I love the power I get from the 781 in combo with the torrent 148 setback pump I have. I'm currently only getting about 3/4 of the way around in my best attempts. Not the ski's fault, I'm just a chicken. The ski did...

Help! How water cooling specs on factory b pipe Yamaha 701

You only have 1 cooling line coming from the pump? What is connected to the bottom of your exhaust headpipe? What Vumad was describing as parallel cooling is normally done with a second line from the pump to feed directly to the headpipe. If your splitting the 1 cooling line from the pump...

    Pole length?

Most people will say the shorter the better. There many factors that come into play but in flat water riding, on most AM hulls you want to get your weight as far forward as possible. Also, in general, the taller you are the shorter your pole should be. I think stock length is around 40-41...

92 701 SN superjet, swapping to a built 95 hull. Mid shaft same size?

Yes, start with the pump, you'll need to align/shim the pump and driveshaft before installing the midshaft. Also, is you waterbox fiberglass or metal? The original SN would be fiberglass but very possible it was swapped to the aluminum RN box with the engine swap. Your better of with the...
