thanks for the info, I know where the ramp is I've been going to hampton my whole life, just never with the ski. Itd be sweet to park it up on the beach to hang out while we're not riding

also, is this strictly a race/freestyle even or will there be some rec riding as well?

I run 50:1 in my mostly stock 05 SXR with amsoil dominator, no black water from me. my book didnt say anything about 40:1 or 60:1, but the sticker next to the fuel cap when I got it said 50:1, so that what I've always run

I think I might hafta show up...its only an hour from me :)

I cut 4" off my hull, and 1-1/2" off the pole...made a HUGE difference. Stubby pump conea s well, and I have a 6º advancer. Future mods are wet pipe and skat 9/17 swirl with 5mm setback, and a -4" or -6" pole and C.A.T.S. :)

I sold a 440 hull I had to a friend...he's putting a 650sx motor in it

I dont htink it looks too bad. Not my thing but it still kinda fits in. Like he said, once you turf it it'll be less noticeable

I've got a 6º advance, wamiltons stubby cone and reed spacers on my 05 SXR and it helps. The reed spacers I hardly noticed, but they were cheap so I dont care lol. The advance made a difference I could feel, and the pump cone was a LARGE improvement, WAY more bottom end grunt

lookin sweet. I've got the blowsion rail caps too, they're starting to crak though. I think when they're toast I'll take them off and just turf over where the rail cap goes

my 05 doesnt have it...strange

I just put the new wamiltons stubby cone on my ski, stock prop/nozzle etc, works mint...TONS more bottom end. Goign to eventually put on my X-2 trim (which looks like it has a bigger nozzle) and a skat 9/17 prop

I've still got my stock battery from new...3 yrs old this summer, still works mint.

those bigger batteries arent cheap. a lot of the big 4-stroke sleds use big batteries that retail for $150+ and even dealer cost is still well over $100
