alright just got back form the first ride its different, lets put it that way. the nose rides slightly higher, but with the -1.5 pole it counters it a little. its way more "porpoisey" now, and has slight instability at speed. it still corners very well, which is surprising given the -4 hull...

I'm glad I read this...now when I manage to venture to the ocean I'll get a plug for the inside tube first

ok she's 99% done! all thats left is to throw the decal on the right side and turf the bondline, and finish the carbon ride plate nose turfed (looks better with hood on and pole down lol) Motor in view of new rear end gotta get the tape residue off the hull..grrr all...

ok, end of day report. scupper is in and sealed up. I'll load pics tomorrow. Tomorrow I should be able to get the motor and pump back in and probably turf the sides as well. Then all I need to do is finish modifying my stock ride plate and ride! Then I can take my time finishing the carbon one

bump also got the pole turfed today and more progress on scupper install. my wrists are hurting from twisting that damn PVC! lol

Ok, so if you've seen my sxr buildup, me and Ben (24-7 760 superjet) cut 4 inches off the read of the lower hull. I'm currently doing the toothed-cut PVC pipe trick to cut through the foam so I can put my new wamiltons scupper in, I made it about 7 or 8 inches and it sounds like I'm hitting...

ok more progress today. got the pole finished/installed, just need to turf it. I had to cut apart the stock pole mount and open the hull to let the larger tube in. I started getting at the foam in the tail with the PVC pipe so I can install the scupper too. I should be able to turf the pole and...

good 'ol duplicolor from NAPA/AutoZone etc. Pure White/Linen White for pole, gloss black for hull both with clear top coat and lots of wet sanding lol

Ok made some progress in the last couple days. The pole is done with paint and clearcoat. Just need to drill the hole for the mount and put the bars and everything on and turf the top. Pole hanging to dry My scupper and cone came form wamilton's today too! the stock cone looks...
