    The trials bike build

Here's a TLR200 with less than 600 miles on it: http://www.baxtercycle.com/pre_owned_detail.asp?veh=1072188 And it's only 200 miles away from me. ...hmmm. Pricey, but probably worth it to the right folks.

    300SX with 800 motor!

IIRC, the 300SX is about 6" shorter than a 550/440/300B hull or FX-1, and about 10" shorter than a SuperJet. Yet the width is 1/2 way between the smaller ones and the SJ. It's short and wide proportions make it kinda like a Jet Ski version of the AMC Pacer...

What kind of 2 stroke premix do you use????

Spectro PWC. It's too damn expensive and hard to find, and it's probably not any better than most anything else. But I use it anyway because I used Golden Spectro for many years in my 2-stroke motorcycles, and they earned my loyalty.

Dave Ramsey, debt, credit cards, retirement, etc

I agree. But that takes time to accrue. I was referring to the original post that said, "Not everyone becomes debt free over night." And "Debt is NOT a Tool" is the name of one of the chapters in Total Money Makeover.

Very true. Here's a perfect example: over the weekend, we had to replace 15 feet collapsed main sewer line. It was 2600 smackers -- more than we have on hand. And that's not the sort of thing you can just live with 'til you have the cash! We put it on a CC until our tax refund can pay it off in...

I am not an expert, but I believe the answer is no -- car loans are secured. The existing lenders can repossess your cars and recover all or most their assets without further action against you. Student loans are unsecured, therefore harder for the existing lender to recover should you default.

I went to hear Ralph Nader speak at my university in 1990. I know is name is a four-letter word to most folks, but I was much more impressed with what he had to say than I expected to be. The focus of his speech is that we teach our children quite a lot about how to be excellent producers...

    The trials bike build

The TLR200 wasn't much of a trails bike for any hardcore riding, but for neighborhood donkin' around, it was a blast. I worked at a Honda dealership when they came out, and all of us rode the snot out of our demo...

Most people don't get in debt trouble because of emergency home repairs that are truly, immediately necessary. It's whipping out the MasterCard at Best Buy for that new XBox 360, home theater system and plasma screen that screws most people. ...or financing a 12 grand watercraft at 16% APR.

Credit scores are not just about how likely you are to pay off your debts. They are also about how likely the lender is to MAKE MONEY off your business with them. Creditors make the most money when you use a lot of credit, carry a large balance, and manage to pay on time. That's who they're...

The hardest part of getting out of debt is learning to say that unsecured debt simply isn't an option. Now, I can say no to myself pretty easily, but being the heavy, downer buzzkill and constantly telling my wife (who admittedly brings in 2/3rds of our income), "no, we don't have the money"...

If you're okay with the Atom chip, you might also consider the HP Mini 1000. I had a chance to play with one last night. I didn't like the trackpad, but otherwise was impressed.

    Asus Eee Notebook

I love my 701. My only complaint is that the screen on mine is a bit small. Side-to-side isn't bad at 800 pixels, but 480 vertical pixels ain't what they used to be. The newer 900s have a bigger display, but they are also slightly larger.
