i picked up an FX-1 "reinforced" with poly resin. i removed 100% of it with a flat head screw driver. started up front and peeled it back like i was skinning a deer!
are all voltage regulators pretty much the same? can i use a voltage regulator out of a kawi 650 or a yamaha 701 in the kawi 300 sx i am trying to get running?
Does anyone ride with one on their fx-1.. or ridden a ski that had one? I had one at one point on a round nose, but I was looking for opinions of it on the fx-1? what do you think one is worth (if i decide to sell it) ? thanks

not sure where you're located, but if you can hike any kind of altitude (safely) it's an awesome cardio work out. i take mine ice fishing sometimes too.
i like it. i came across my mind to tap my r& d pump shoe to sandwhich it.. maybe I will try this method, then grind on my hull some more to line it all up...
