ps. i don't believe there's a reason to jb weld the impeller onto a shaft with f'ed bearings.

ouch....very few good things have come from jb weld in my experience.:cussing:

yeah it really sucks having to remove paint in the engine compartment to remove and re-do a reinforcement job that someone f-ed up...

You mean I can't use poly resin to do reinforcement?

i picked up an FX-1 "reinforced" with poly resin. i removed 100% of it with a flat head screw driver. started up front and peeled it back like i was skinning a deer!

tip for the day:If you going to make your own foot holds maybe try using more than one sheet of glass oh and fill in the holes you made to put foam in. I now have a waterlogged fx

Meh. building up a ski piece by piece usually costs wayyyyyy more than just buying what was someone else's money pit. As long as you know what you are dealing with
