I need somewhere to start with jetting for a motor I am building. It is a 62t case 62t cylinder bored to a 760, has a ported factory pipe manifold, coffmans pipe that is very similar to a b pipe in shape and size. I am going to be using prok flame arresters on it.
what compression is it? The high compression motors are always louder. Perhaps you could put a spray fitting on the waterbox outlet, and just run a line off the head to it instead of a pisser. Watcon sells the sprayers.
What shop did the powdercoat? I am in your area and my ac pole could use a fresh powdercoat job. Also how does the paint look? I am thinking about using the same paint on my sc.
I drilled a 1" hole in the bottom of my foothold before I installed it to pour through. Then I installed it, glassed the hold in, poured the foam, then glassed over the hole.
I am sure this has been covered, but I could not find anything on multiple searches. I am looking to add some sort of connector to the stator wires on my sj, so I do not have to pull the ebox whenever I pull my motor. What have people used with good results?
Go for the rhaas mounts, they are top quality and are now made out of billet, with a fail safe design, so if they come apart your motor won't go flying around.
Go to a bicycle shop and get a stamped sheet metal 13mm wrench, they fit absolutely perfect. You can get reduced hex head stainless bolts from McMaster carr
I covered my ski when I wasn't using it, and it still turned pink. I think I am going to do black turf and paint the bottom black. Did a couple blasters with the new two tone and two tone waffle, and they have been holding up great.
