Think some are using the Watcon one with good results. http://www.watcon.com/Catalog_Pages/Hood_Seals.htm

Also there is a dude here on the X selling what he calls "surf seals" hood seals bulk type stuff. You'll have to do a search, I dont know his user name right off hand.

I havent used either of these, but have read some good reviews.

I hear ya on the OEM RN hood seal price. I think I paid $114 or something crazy 4 years ago when i bought my last one here in town through the local dealer...

Also, JetManiac I believe has OEM ones for much cheaper. Dont quote me on that though.

I just got my watcon seal in the mail today I ordered it Friday afternoon. Awesome place to buy parts the website is easy and service is amazing great prices and fast shipping.

on my sj im running the mcmaster weather striping "surf seal" and it works awsome. your hood has more side to side support because it sits in the groove as oppose to being squished on top.

on another note Thrust has a bad ass new seal that i just installed on my rickter and its much better then the watcon one imo. its similar to the OEM one and its like 50$
